SYSTEM COMPONENTS

Tri-Layer System engineered for Maximum Safety

The KaminHorn chimney system features a triple-layer construction, including ceramic flues, insulation wool, a lightweight concrete outer casing, and a terminal section. Optionally, the EcoHorn range can feature a decorative brick-style section available in red, terracotta, brown, and anthracite gray, ensuring our systems integrate perfectly with the exterior design of any home.

As a triple-layer structure, the KaminHorn professional chimney is composed of:

  • The Flue: High-quality ceramic tubing, resistant to acid condensation and operating temperatures of up to 600°C.

  • Thermal Insulation: Basalt mineral wool with a density of 110kg/m³—providing thermal stability while reducing condensation and tar buildup within the flue.

  • Outer Layer: A thermally efficient lightweight concrete casing, equipped with ventilation and anchoring channels.

Being a tri-layer construction, the KaminHorn professional chimney is composed of:

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I choose between a Ceramic and a Stainless Steel chimney?
Ceramic systems (tri-layer with concrete casing or full ceramic) are the ideal choice for new residential constructions, offering maximum thermal inertia and durability for solid fuel (wood, coal). Stainless steel (Inox) systems are lighter, easier to install, and perfect for modernizing existing homes, industrial applications, or when the chimney needs to be mounted on the exterior facade.
Both are premium ranges manufactured from high-grade stainless steel. The Elite range represents our standard for high quality and corrosion resistance. The Elite Plus range features increased wall thickness, providing superior structural rigidity and extended durability for intensive use or extreme weather conditions.
Absolutely. All Kaminhorn systems carry the CE marking and are certified according to the European standard SR EN 13063. They are tested to withstand operating temperatures of up to 600°C and are resistant to soot fires (auto-ignition) for up to 90 minutes.
Yes, we deliver anywhere in Europe. We have established logistics routes specifically for Germany, Italy, and Spain. All systems are professionally palletized and insured to ensure they arrive at your construction site in perfect condition.
We deliver complete installation kits. The pallet includes everything required for a full setup: the condensate collector base, inspection door, connection elements, mineral wool insulation, outer casing blocks, and the stainless steel terminal cone. No missing parts, no improvisation needed.
The diameter depends on your heat source (boiler, fireplace, stove) and the height of the chimney. Do not guess! Contact our technical team for a free consultation. We calculate the required draft to ensure optimal efficiency and safety for your specific heating unit.
